The General Star Trek Reading List contains many stories from the Star Trek Lit-verse that do not easily fall under a larger series title. This includes three major Lit-verse stories which were never given their own titled series, but do span multiple books with an ongoing story and characters. These three storylines are the return of Kirk in the 24th century, the presidency of Nan Bacco, and the adventures of the USS Aventine. Also included are smaller series which don't justify their own separate reading list, and don't fit within any of the other larger series: the Department of Temporal Investigations and Prometheus.
In addition to these main storylines, several additional standalone stories are
connected due to various references in other books, or to other books.
These references are mentioned in the notes.
Five short stories are also connected, two from Enterprise Logs (which shares references among several connected novels), two from Deep Space Nine: The Lives of Dax (which ties into the Deep Space Nine Post-Finale Series), and one from Tales of the Dominion War (which ties into four Lit-verse series.) Various references in parts of the anthology New Worlds, New Civilizations, Star Trek #400, and Star Trek #500 connect stories from those works.
Dark blue denotes the stories most important to the rest of the Lit-verse: the main storylines of Kirk's return, Nan Bacco, the Aventine, the DTI, and the Prometheus. Light blue denotes the expanded storyline. Read these for other works closely connected to the Lit-verse which don't fit on any other reading list. The white denotes every other connected story, regardless of continuity, not listed elsewhere on the site.
Hover for notes. As always, not every reference to every other story is mentioned, just the one I chose as most important to show the expanding Lit-verse web.
